Anyone switch their ob-gyn?

So I'm pretty certain that I am switching my ob-gyn. I've got several reasons, but mainly because I didn't really feel comfortable with her (and I'm not big on female doctors). But I do have a question... I've already gotten blood work done and stuff for this doctor, will they just release the results to my new doctor or do I have to get it done all over again? My mom thinks I'll have to get it done again...but as I said to her, its my blood and they have to do what I want with it!! hah

Did anyone else do this? And what did you do about your test results?

I'm swtiching from an OB to a midwife and she said I can just bring in the results. I don't know if it's the same switching to another OB or not. Or if it's the same in Canada. I guess that's really not too much help

I went with a midwife, got dumped by my Ob/GYN, and my midwife just did all her own tests.
