right some of you ladies might think im being stupid but its still really upset me. im 5 weeks preg and i reali dnt feel like im getting enough support from
my OH. he never ever asks me how im feeling. and everytime im sick all he does is sit at his comp and dosent even turn round 2 give me a cuddle or nothing. and he keeps moanin that im bein off with him bt im not its just my hormones which i reali cant help. and when i finally snapped today and basically said what the hell is your problem. all he could say was "people like you having a go at me all the time" and then walked out and now typing this i reali do feel like crying. i feel so alone and lonley and its reali getting me down. sorry but i reali had to get that off my chest thanks

It really amazes me how many of the girls' OH's are being complete morons. I thought it was only mine. Cheer up, it will get better hopefully. At least you don't have to listen to him complaining about how he has to go to work and he comes home and the place isn't cleaned up...nevermind that I'm oh I don't know...pulling all nighters, studying for/writing exams, and throwing my guts up all day. And when HE comes home, its a b-line for the PS3. BOYS! ARG.

My OH was terrible when I first got pregnant. He was really nasty to me.

It wasn't till he could actually see my bump and feel baby move that he became concerned at all.

I think for men it's a completely different experience.

Agree with all of above. My bloke varies from being caring and interesting to moaning that I am ''hormonal'' and emotional - er, ''yeah damn right I am, idiot''!!!!
I agree with above that they really don't feel it the same we do. I think it's cos they can't see it/ feel it etc and once you're bigger and he can see a bump he will be much more protective and interested.
I really know what you feel though as in the last few days have seriously felt am doing this alone and want to flush my man down the loo!

Mine works away all week so he has to cope with my little outbursts on the phone and he still hasn't quite worked out

I got so upset the other day upset when I was talking about hoe huge my boobs were which somehow lead to sudden insecurities that my body won't be what it once was ... he started talking about excerise plans!! I serously flipped out, and we never argue, he said he doesn't know what it is he is supposed to say to me, I don't want advice so should he just be silent? I appologised and explained that my hormons were all over the place, and what I needed to hear from him was reassurance - would he still find me attractive etc etc? He thought it was so obvious that he would still love me he hadn't said it! What am I physic? lol.

Apparently men only talk about their problems when they want help finding a solution and women talk to share and discuss a problem - or sometimes just to hear how it sounds out loud. And that's without the hormons.

I think we all need to get better at telling our OH what we do want from them. Maybe ahead of time say when I do this or say that it means I want this from you. I know it sounds silly but I think they really are clueless and it must be a scarey prospect to be faced with the sobbing hormonal mother of their child - with no instructions and no manual.
