Emergency scan at 6+5, Updated with news and scan pic pg 3

So I've been spotting red and brown blood on and off since last week, rang the docs this morning and the lovely lady at the epu decided I should have a scan. Am booked in for tomorrow. What am I likely to see, will I see a heartbeat there this early ?

Yes you can hopefully, duno if it's certain 4 everyone but by week 6 you should, however I am 8 weeks 2mo going by my period but baby was only 6 weeks going by measurements but they found a little flashing heartbeat. You may find you're not as far along as you thought so u may not see a heart beat yet but the might invite you back. It may depend on ur dates in comparison to your LMP date??

I had one at 6 weeks 5 days. Saw the heatbeat and she pointed out movement. I new my dates as i had a scan 2 weeks before. The other poster is correct. It seems very easy for peoples dates to be a week out, So try not to be to upsett if its a little to early.

I had an emergency scan at 7wks 3 days by my LMP but the scan dated me at 6 weeks 4 days and there was a little heartbeat fluttering away.

All I saw was a little dot with a heartbeat I will try and uplaod my scan at about that time

I have a scan tomorrow too (I got my bfp 18/1/2010 btw) as I've had bright red bleeding since yesterday morning,also had 2 clots but no more today thankfully. Tbh my dr did'nt seem hopeful for me but I've had no pain which is a good thing. Good luck for tomorrow hun x

Thanks hunny, like you I've not had much pain or any clots just lots of discharge, its worrying isn't it ? Hope all goes well for you too.
