lol thankyou!!! Half those gender symptoms are just wives tales BUT in saying that i had all the girl symptoms- higher baby heartrate, extreme morning sickness, gaining weight in places other than my bump craving sweet things, aahh i swear there were more, but i can't remember now lol. Plus the big intuition that i was having a girl. Everyone i know just "knew". but i know people with the exact opposite symptoms that are having girls too. I carry her low (which is supoposed to mean boy- high meant to mean girl lol) and I have a linea nigra that goes all the way up in a straight line, which is apparently meant to mean boy too, so every one is different. You will find out the gender in no time. i still remember the 6 weeks weeks b4 my 19 week scan being so anxious because i couldn't wait and now that is looong gone and it feels like yesterday and i will be able to see her for real pretty soon! Wow, talking to you guys has helped me relive my early pregnancy days, such an exciting time!!!! Now i've gone sad i'm going to miss it lol
stupid emotions dohh:

xx

Thankyou! yes my 1st! very excited!! Oh my goodness hun don't wish for morning sickness! seriously i did because i wanted to feel like I was pregnant. it was the most terrible time of my life. I was constantly sick, i couldnt eat anything, i lost weight, i lived in bed, it felt like i had the worst hangover but it lasted months! I had to get taken to the doctors to get pills for nausia which didnt even work half the time. I would spend the days crying because i was just so sick, it was so overwhelming. People say that sometimes the only relief was sleep but i would actually wake up in the night to be sick. I couldn't enjoy the fact that I was pregnant. Luckily I managed to keep my fluids up so didnt get dehydrated, i constantly drunk from my water bottle, even though i would just throw it back up i would just keep forcing it down, which really was the best thing i could have done. Don't mean to scare you, but you CAN have a happy and healthy pregnancy without being sick. For me it eased off about 12 weeks ish but the fun part is it's been wriggling its way back now!! I'll be keeping my eye out for you. Will be nice to still be keeping track of someones pregnancy lol!!! x

i know it's hard not to worry, but 4+4 is still really early on. It might be that you have low hcg levels, which means it's harder for the test to pick it all up. As long as your hcg levels are doubling it doesnt matter if they are low.

If you have not had any bleeding or severe pain, it's really unlikely that there is anything to worry about. Take another test on Friday and it should be darker, if it's still the same or more faint then ring your local early pregnancy unit..they might book you in for a scan.

I think you'll be fine tho xx

I had to laugh out loud when u said u want to feel "a little bit sick" Is this your 1st too? If you do get sick, just think it actually is a good sign that your hormones are progressing and that it won't last forever and it will be so so worth it. Hope ya don't though, just don't think about it and you might be able to ignore it. (oh if only if things were easy huh ) I added u to my buddies by the way x

I wished that i was sick with my little girl because i always have such a sensitive tum i thought why am i not bein sick? Then at 6 weeks oh god....and it never stopped until she was out, i was even sick in the delivery suite whilst i was in labour...good times.

Most people get morning sickness, you will do and if not you'll feel it a little bit. I've been feeling it every morning and night but nothing actually comin up..yet. There is still time.

I know what you mean tho, it gives you peace of mind. Every day i was sick i knew she was ok xxx

THAT is very true- it does mean things are going ok, very good sign! i think that's what worries those who don't get any ms because they worry things arnt ok. They are the lucky ones, but they don't have that same piece of mind i guess. I was slightly put off when i started feeling better though. can't win. lol x
