Fales Positive Results on ASDA tests???

Hello I'm new here so hello!

I was due on my period Monday and nothing as yet but last week I did have a couple of days of very very very light spotting a bit like implation bleeding is discribed ? Anyway I did test at the weekend clear blue came back neg.

Then today I have done two asda tests first one on the first morning we within a couple of mins saw faint pos then the 2ndone I did later and collected the sample this time and that one has also shown faint posative BUT darker positive than the one i did first thing even though its been sat there for hours now. I' really confussed could this be an evoporation line or is it a faint positive ?

When i was preg with the twins i was still getting neg test when i was over 5 weeks preg i know this coz i had an early scan and found out it was twins at 7 weeks!

can anyone help lol ? i will test again friday but wondering if anyone had anything similar ?

I used the ASDA ones and they always came back faint - however I am now 11 weeks so they clearly weren't wrong. I think evaporation lines only appear quite a while after the test is finished. You could try a first response - that one gave me a stronger positive that the ASDA ones.

Lots of luck!

me too i bought the asda ones and they were really faint, so i bought a clear blue one and waited a few days.

Maybe wait a day or two and re-test.

Best of luck!!

I have been told by a number of people that work for the local hospital you can get false negatives but not false positives. ** thats why docs take your word for it now and don't insist on retesting. HPT's are so reliable now

Congrats on the

**I forgot to put this

Its true, theres no such thing as a false positive, as you cant fake hcg, if its in your system theres only one reason!! BFP!!!

If you wanna put your mind at rest, get a different test, I spent a bit more for the clear blue digital, as I didnt want to be umming and arrring....it flashes up in words socant get confuzzled!! xxx

I've heard the same, you can get false neg but not false positive. Sounds promising but like the others say do another test in a day or two. All the best!!!! x
