Obsessing already!!

I am only 4 weeks and 5 days. I have had 1 missed miscarriage followed by a blighted ovum.
This is my 3rd pregnancy and I am scared to death.
Can someone please help me out?

thought I wasn't gonna be obsessing but only after a couple of more days probably few days before my 1st u/s. Here I am already asking myself, why am I not feeling any twingie? poking? bloating?

In my other pregnancies I felt all that.. could this be a good sign not feeling them? not even stretching feeling? I know it's early, but AAAAAAARGH!! I just wanna scream!!!!!

I did feel AF like cramps.. and thought something was gonna show up, but then nothing.. other than that I have been having horrible heartburn and swollen very tender boobs

Does normal pregnancies feel like this?!

My obsession has started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bless you Suzan -

I just think some of us (myself included) are pre disposed to obssessing about all sorts of things in life. I obsessed about TTC and now I obsess about being pregnant. I think if you can admit that you are just one of those people then it helps. I am and so know when I start going overboard I have now learnt to stop for a second and have a word with myself. It wont change me - I'm still gonna be like it and even my friends half roll their eyes at me as they know its classic me.
Worrying and obsessing wont make this pregnancy happen or not happen. I thikn you just have to learn to live with who you are.

And if thats not enough - I'd be saying to myself, if I were you, I've had two unsucessfull pregnancies and this feels different - and take that as a good thing.

I can understand that you're obsessing right now, especially with having a blighted ovum before. I had one with my last pregnancy and the horrible thing with them is that you still get all the symptoms of pregnancy and assume that everything is going ok, until you go for your scan and there is no baby. I'm very sorry that this happened to you.

But just count this pregnancy as a blessing (as all women should with every pregnancy) and enjoy it. I'm sure everything is going to be fine. Discuss your worries with your doctor and try to get an early scan.

Hi Suzan and congratulations on your BFP! I can understand you worrying, if its any help to you i am now 5 weeks and 4 days and i still havent had hardly any symptoms either, i keep forgetting that i am actually PG! i had AF cramps just before i got my BFP and to be honest this was the first month i was convinced i actually wasnt, its the classic glass half full rather than half empty, try and remain positive unless something serious happens for you to believe otherwise, I sometimes have a sneeky peak on the ttc boards and this being my 3rd PG (1 dd and 1ds already) makes me count my blessings and realise how lucky i am. Positive thinking can only be a good thing, for your well being and the lil bubs x x

Im feeling this, and its my first!!
Im stuck in the "only been trying a month so its too good to be true"

If only we had a crystal ball so we knew what was going to happen hey?

But its true, stressing about it wont change anything, and will only serve to make you feel icky. Sit back, enjoy being pregnant, because when you are in your third trimester, you'll wonder how time has flown by, and how you wished you'd enjoyed the time when its just you and baby.

Giving you all my support hun, it will be fine!

Your symptoms sound normal for your dates. Most of us didn't start getting sick until about 8-10 weeks. Have you started feeling tired yet? Sounds like you have a keeper in there. It is also normal to obsess quite a bit. Don't worry. you are very much like the rest of us.

Good luck suzan. Like they say every pregnancy is different, all I really felt that early on was some light cramping. The nausea didn't start until 5.5 weeks and I never had sore bbs.

Hi Suzan i'm exactly the same!!!
Am supposedly 4.5weeks and have had two m/c and am obsessing over every single bloody thing I feel (or don't feel!)
But I try and tell myself, I worried the last time and nothing changed the outcome. So we have to just accept (hard I know!) what will be will be.
But so far, no bad signs so shall we just try and stay positive? I will if you will!
