Pregnancy test line really dark now..good sign?

I'm 5 weeks gone now, i took four pregnancy tests last week and they all came out positive. The first one was at 13 days past ovulation and the second at 14. Then I took two after i missed my period. I had a pain in my back about 2 days after i missed my period and it really hurt it was like a period cramp, lasting about a minute.

I went to the doctors and i practically begged her to send me for a blood test but she wouldnt because i'v not had any bleeding.

So i bought another test today, this time it came up really dark straight away. It even looks darker than the other line on there.

Is this a good sign or would it still be that dark if i'd had a missed miscarriage? The pain was like a day after i'd taken a test and it wasn't faint but it wasn't really dark like this one.

xx

Yeah, the doctor didn't seem worried. I think it's just me panicking. I'v not had it since and still have all pregnancy symptoms. xx

You certainly don't sound like you are displaying any obvious signs of having a miscarriage hun - so I wouldn't base anything on a couple of pains lasting a minute.

I just wanted to say about the pregnancy tests - the colour of the line means nothing. It only tests whether you are pregnant or not. The strength of the line is no indication of your hormone levels. I would just put the tests away - they have shown positive and that's all you need to go on now.

Well, the colour of the line does mean nothing BUT when I had a chemical, they were always getting fainter so DARKER is a great sign!

A short pain in the back is nothing to worry about about to be honest. UNLESS there is major cramping and or bleeding, i would think positive and look ahead!! You already have one kiddie, so you will know what feels like normal pregnancy aches over the next few weeks. good luck x
