hi gemgems... you are not alone in the paranoia department. I am 10 weeks and was wondering why all my symptoms seem to have gone??? I was really tired and nauseous between 6 and 9 weeks and now that has gone for almost a week now. Im hoping its just the way the pregnancy is but i know its difficult to not feel paranoid. I even had a scan at 8 weeks showing bean and heartbeat, so you would think that would stop me being paranoid, but nope! I still have very tender boobies and a lack of appetite so i don't understand where the tiredness and nausea went to!! But i suppose its normal to worry about these things.... x

Don't worry Gemgems. I had my boobs shrink and go completely normal at 5 wks exactly and I started crying to my Dh that something was wrong, in amongst the tears I managed to say, wouldn't it be funny if everything is alright and we can look back and think how I cried cause my boobs shrank (I normally have small boobs and was enjoying the increased size). I can happily say that we can look back on that day and laugh. I had many days in first tri without any symptoms and even a week at around 8 weeks where I felt fine. My morning sickness, just completely disappeared at 11wks and that was that!

I just put it down to hormone surges. When you are having a lot of symptoms it's probably just a surge, but it doesn't neccesarily mean it's a bad sign when the surge ends.

its common 4 them to come and go although i was the same when i woke 1 day and boobs were ok and no sickness!! Just take it as a bonus and relax and enjoy ur pregnancy, i'm sure u'll be just fine!! x

Gem gems,i come on here to post exactly the same comment as you,ive felt sick for a few days and my boobs have killed from before af was due,then today nothing.I phoned the docs this morn i was that convinced something had gone wrong as i had the same feelings last time when i m/c.Docs think eveything is fine but have arranged for me to have an early scan tmw,now im dreadin it.

I must agree with the other ladies that it is normal for this to happen. I've had the same thing happen, and worry all the same. Some days I actually forget for an instant I am pregnant, and then realize how good I feel - which is odd. If I didn't have my little belly (I am showing early), then I really would wonder. Plus, I finally can hear the LO on the doppler so that is reassuring as well! Try and remain calm and if you are really concerned, you can call your doctor and request a scan... :Hugs:

It is good to know that i'm not the only one feeling this paranoia!! I'm sure that everything is fine with you. Have you had any pains or bleeding? I hope the scan goes well for you. My boobs are a bit painful today and they are rock hard and i still desperately need a new bra!! It's just the waiting for the scan thats really doing my head in!! It's not until the 12th May and i dont think i can hold out that long! But there's no way i want to make up that i'm having pains etc just to get a scan. I'd jinx myself and also there'd be another woman that who would genuinely need that scan. Fingers crossed!! xx

Thanks Belle. My boobs hurt a bit today and they are rock hard, so all seems to be well!! I just wish i could bring my scan forward. My midwife is coming to see me tomorrow. I'm going to talk to her about my worries and hopefully she might be able to pull some strings in the scan department. xxx

lol bout the boobs hurting and you feeling better.I come in from work last night and was in a foul mood again so that convinced me bean was still there.Woke up today and boobs heavy and hurting again.No i havent had any bleeding and no severe pains just a few pains that didnt feel like the rest of them if you know what i mean.Anyhow had my scan babys fine and there scanning me again in 2wks just to reassure me which i thought was dead nice.Try not to worry hun i know its easier done then said or ask your midwife about an early scan.

Well ladies, as predicted, my paranoia was not to last long! I all of a sudden feel REEEEAAALLLY sick and my boobs are KILLING!!!! The only food i'm able to think about at the minute without reaching is marmite on toast.
I JUST WANNA SEE BEAN!!!!!
Anyway, seeing midwife tomorrow and me and the OH have the day off to something nice So, i wont be online tomorrow as my pc at home doesn't work
I'll update you on friday!
Still another 1hr 20mins till i finish work. BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
