Isn't it too early for round ligament pain?

I'm 7w5d, and have been having sudden sharp, stabbing pains for like 5 days now. Really disconcerting. It started really, really low (way below ovaries/uterus), and changed sides, went down my groin/legs/bikini line/etc., but now it's moved slightly higher, even sending some shoots to my hip bone. It comes on randomly (and lasts for like 1-5 seconds), or it'll start after I change position. Sometimes, it's better to walk, sometimes, worse.

I made a post about it before (don't mean to be a complainer -- really), I'm just really curious. A lot of online medical sources state that it's a second trimester symptom, and explain that "cramps" can be had in the first trimester, but these aren't quite cramps at all. This is my first pregnancy -- not sure if that changes anything symptoms-wise.

Anyone know more about it, or have been experiencing this themselves?

dont wanna read and run, lol mine started about 2 weeks ago and its just like my whole lower tummy into my legs feels real tight like a stretched rubberband (not painful but really sore) and its usually when i get up off the couch too quickly or if i go from laying down in bed to standing up real fast...its deff not the most pleasent feeling lol

I get stabbing pains if i stand up too fast and sometimes with coughs/sneezes...... dont know if it's the same but i have had it ever since i got my BFP

I think I am experiencing the same thing.. This is my first pregnancy, but I have been having strange pains nothing to make me cringe in pain but like stabbing and achy dull in my lower sides one day its the right next day its the left.. I think its weird

I had them probably from 7 weeks. I found comparing my pains to my friends that i got more pain earlier than my pregnant friends and then when they had pains i didint

im almost 6 weeks and have been having them since i found out i was pregnant. I have been told it is just your uterus/belly growing making room for your little bean..good luck

i had these from 5 weeks until recently (am now 7+3) midwife told me they are normal stretching pains & baby burrowing. Try to relax & enjoy x
