just wondering would you carry on taking it after 12 weeks or stop as it says take until 12 weeks ??

My MW said its up to you if you still want to take it after 12 weeks!! i stopped... because i couldnt stand it, but would say if you are ok taking it, then carry on.. x

Theres a range of multi vits you can take that contain folic acid in too....im gunna take my folic acid for 12 weeks then move onto multi vits ....or pregnacare....il be rattling by the time i pop bubs out lol

I'm taking a multi vitamin which has folic acid in it, so I am going to carry on taking that all the way though xx

Folic acid is great for your own health anyway. i am taking pregnacare at the moment and will probably continue to do so for my whole pregnancy. the first time around, i took the folic acid until 12 weeks and after that i just continued to make sure my diet was high in folacin

I think it's because after 12 weeks the babys spine is already forming but i think it's still good for you and the babe to keep taking it. I stopped taking it after 12 weeks with our daughter and she's perfect but for your peace of mind, there is no harm in taking it still xx

haha bubbles i love your blinkie, i am STILL breastfeeding my almost 2 year old and it always makes me laugh when i get the "youre STILL breastfeeding??" like its something weird
