Vitamin A?

I've been taking some Iron vitamins as even before I was pregnant I was constantly tired and doctor reccomend me take them.
However I've just read on the back of the pack that Vitamin A is not good for women who are pregnant!
Has anyone else read anything similar and do you think I should stop taking the vitamins til I see the doctor?

Cheers xxxx

not sure of the answer to that one do you have the number of a midwife or maybe ring your doctor and ask for advice or even if you live close to a pharmacy you could have a word with the chemist.

Not sure, I just take sanatogen pro-natal, as it had everything you need and that is safe in there.

I'd stop taking them till you see your doc. x

I was told by midwife not to take vitamin A as it can cause birth defects also avoid liver, pate...etc as they contain high levels of vitamin A
