bridesmaid with bloat/constipation-help

Im just 5 weeks but after 3 previous misscarrages im keeping every thing crossed and am not complaining about any of my symptoms- bring on the morning sickness!
However Im bridesmaid to a close friend this Friday and have just picked my dress up after its final alterations last month and im just fitting in it, it doesnt look very attractive as the bloat in a silk dress has no where to hide and is sticking out a mile. Do you think wearing control pants just for the wedding day would cause any harm? I dont want to risk anything but do feel crap in this dress, What do you think?

I'm Currently Feeling:

I have to admit to wearing a pair at six weeks for a party at the golf club where I had to meet a lot of my OH's friends for the first time who had no idea we were expecting. But I was a little uncomfortable on the night, but more because the elastic was in a funny place.

But I can't tell you if there are any medical implications for doing this.

i know support underwear for pregnant women in later pregnancy are availble. But this is to support the weight of the baby and probably not for asthetic purposes.

Common sense would say to avoid anything too restrictive and ensure that if you do decide to use supportive underwear to stick to light support and make sure that the elastic sits just below the bust and doesn't cut across you middle.

Maybe try to avoid bloating by cutting out fizzy drinks etc before hand?

Or, is there anychance you can have the dress realtered this late in the day? Or if it has a bodice back, loosen the lace work?

Could you not wear a shrug?

Then you can over your belly with it while its over your shoulders?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but have your boobs grown too? Mine were massive compared to normal by 5 weeks! Hope you've tried your dress on recently, your tummy may be the least of your worries!

Thanks for you thought ladies. The other bridesmaid had a baby last week but is back to a size 8 already so really will look a chubba. Its not that I mind as I know its for a good cause but dont want it to get out that im preg to all at the wedding so not going to drink as on "antibiotics".
We do have shalls that we are allowed to wear after the ceromony and photos so that will help. Also started Senokot so hopefully that will help.
I have tried google with control pants whilst pregnant but nothing!!
