I'm 8+4 and only me and DH know at the moment. DH wants to go and tell his and my parents this weekend but I would rather wait until 12 week scan as I've had 2 ectopic pregnancies but I had a scan at 6 weeks and baby is in the right place and there was a heartbeat so DH is itching to tell his mum now!

I have told pretty much everyone now, since we saw bean on the scan last Friday. Everyone is estatic for us, since we have been trying so long. For the few people that know, and they didn't know we have been trying so long, they ask me if it was planned. LMAO! I think this is very funny because I guess from the outside...I have two kids...a six year old and a five year old. Perhaps it looks "unplanned". But, in reality, we have been TTC four years and went to a fertility clinic. LOL!

We told our immediate family about a week after finding out. I've told a couple close friends of mine and my work (I had terrible ms for a couple weeks - like running to the bathroom and throwing up). I had to tell work as I photograph children and I didn't want them to force me to go home thinking it was contagious! lol
DH is really not wanting to tell our mutual friends (we're the first to get pregnant) I think he 's scared of what his boys will say lol. I know their girlfriends/wives will be ok (all but one but honestly its because she's gonna be mad at her OH - long story). I have my scan this afternoon. If all goes well I imagine we will tell them in the very near future.

Do you mind if I steal your idea?? I think it is brilliant! I will be nearly 13 weeks by then, we were planning on telling people at 12 weeks but if we can wait another few days that is a lovely way of telling our mums!
