With my first I had a tilted uterus and they had to do vaginal scans all the way through 13 weeks to get a good view of LO. Until about 12 weeks they couldn't find anything but my uterus on an abdominal.

I agree with what was said -- if it was an abdominal scan, I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't find anything. If it was an vaginal, then it might be a little more worrisome.
