I'm Currently Feeling: | Trying to get an early scan!! AArrrgghh!! Does anyone else have any trouble trying to get an early scan, or is it just my docs and hospital???
I had a blighted ovum in my last pregnancy and i just wanna know that its not happening again. I cant wait another 5 weeks till my 12 week scan!! AAAARRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!
Sorry for spouting off but no one seems to want to put my mind at ease!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I feel the same hun, After my miscarrage I was getting pains but all they said is the midwife will try and get me in for an early dating scan. They won't let me go for one. I think the only way they would send us if there was bleeding.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've just notice we're at the same stage. Are you due on 22nd Nov too???
I mean i know that resources in hospitals must be stretched and we're not the only 2 women in the country who are pregnant, but the waiting game is just so horrible!! The horrible thing with a blighted ovum is that the woman gets all the preg symptoms as normal and thinnks everything is going well, until she goes for her 12 week scan and discovers there's no baby there at all!! I get myself so worked up i wanna cry
Hope everything goes well for you. Keep pushing your doc. I'm going down to mine after work.

I'm Currently Feeling: | i know im one to tal, but dont let yourself get too worked up hun....
If they really won't sort one out, why dont you pay for one. Theres loads of places that will do early viability scan for about £90. I know its the point and that you shouldnt have to pay, but if it puts your mind at rest it might be worth it. |

| I'm due then too! (my ticker is a day out but I wasn't going to change it til after dating scan cos its probably wrong anyway!)
I also had a m/c a few years ago so am so paranoid. Surely they should realise an early scan would put our minds at ease.
Am currently considering paying for one.
Good Luck with your drs! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | If you can get hold of the number for your early pregnancy clinic then they should book you in no problem. Mine were really good. I hope yours is too. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You should probably ask your clinic and explain to them your previous problem. They will check it out.
I had my first scan at 8 weeks but it's normal over here... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | That must be frustrating given your history. I'm consultant led this time so have been booked in for a scan at 8 weeks. In my last pregnancy i saw my doc after some early spotting and he sent me for an early scan. Maybe you should see your doctor and see if they can book you in.xx |

| it may be easier to get a private scan - they're about £100. We decided that if I am pregnant, I'll be going private for an early scan if I have to |
