| At my first appointment the nurse took my blood pressure and weighed me. Then my OBGYN did a pelvic exam, breast exam, Pap smear, chlamydia swab, and urine test, and I gave a lot of blood for various genetic tests. She also has an ultrasound machine in her office, so I got a scan done at 6 weeks. I walked out with a script for prenatal vitamins and another appointment four weeks later. The whole thing took about an hour or so.
I don't know if it's different in Canada, but that was my experience. Good luck! |
