Babies sac size question

Well, I went and had my ultrasound results appointment today. There's no reason at all for my spotting, so that's awesome! She's got me going for another ultrasound in 2 weeks time.

Right now baby is measuring 7 weeks 6 days. At the time of my scan (just a couple of days ago), baby was measuring 7 weeks 3 days but the sac was measuring 8 weeks 3 days. Does anyone know what that's about? My doctor said it's within normal range, but I thought it was really strange. Baby is right on target for size. I expected her to be 7 weeks 1 day at the ultrasound, so she's even a couple days bigger than what I thought.

Any ideas? Anyone heard of this before?

I have no idea - when I went for my early pregnancy scan the nurse didn't tell me about heartbeat speed or sac sizes or anything. She just told me everything was fine, gave me measurements and date for baby, and showed me the heartbeat on the screen.

That's the same thing my technician did too. Today my doctor was going over my scan results and pretty much reading it out to me as she was reading it. I should just leave it alone and be pleased with the heart beat and the good size. It's just hard not to always worry about something! I am ecstatic, don't get me wrong!
