general unwell feeling that I just cant shift!

I am 10 weeks now and for the past couple of weeks I have felt unwell as though I am coming down with something. I am very very tired with no energy at all, its all I can do to get the kids to school and nursery!. at the moment I am just sitting with a blanket because I feel so tired and cold.I HAVE been pretty sick with this pregnancy but not been so sick that I have been unable to keep any water down or anything like that.

It is starting to get really depressing because I cant keep up with what I need to do (housework and shopping etc!). I havent felt like this with my other pregnancies so I am a little confused!

Does anyone know if this is normal ? any advice?

hun, i am the complete same.....my 1st pregnancy when i had my dh was sickness free until 10 weeks then a lil bit for a week or 2. this time it hit in about 5 weeks and i havn't got the energy to do any housework, cooking or shopping. in fact, i physically cannot do our food shopping, the thought of going into a supermarket to choose food makes me feel so sick, i tried to go to sainsburys and couldn't even bere to park my car i was gagging so much
had to do an oline order....i'll just add that normally i love food shopping so it's very odd for me!!
tbh it's going to be a case of just waiting out the next few weeks....but for you when u get to about 12 weeks the placenta should take over and you should start to feel more normal...
sorry for the essay it's just im feeling rubbish and it's kind of comforting to know ur not the only one iykwim
hope you feel better soon
xxxx

Hiya. It does sound like a pregnancy symptom to me tbh. That's how I felt with Ellie, and how I'm starting to feel now. Dragging myself through the day at work, and some playtime with Ellie, then having dinner and going to bed. If it's really worrying you though, I'd have a chat with your midwife about it. Hope you start to feel better soon x x x x

Yep i hate this aswell feel totaly naff.I was sick all the time in my last pregnancy and my sense of smell went through the roof. This pregnancy im feeling sick all the time not really done much throwing up though. I get to the point of not wanting to get dressed just want to sit on the sofa watching tele with a hot water bottle and a duvet. I went to the doctors yesturday and one of the nurses signed me off work thank god.Coz i said to them i want some tablets for the sickness or i want a sick note so i can rest coz im so tired so im now signed off so i can rest well as much as i can with a 12 month old. I suggest if your feeling like this is to get your self signed off and get some rest

I am so glad its not just me! I am a SAHM so at the moment I am just working on keeping my older children (they are 5,3 and 11 months) basically clean and fed and thats pretty much it. It is a 2 mile walk to my daughters school which is killing me and I think thats why I have so little energy for the rest of the day. I wouldnt mind if it wasnt so cold and if it wasnt tipping down with rain lol.

I hope we all start to improve soon!

I was tempted to phone in sick today. When the alarm went off at 6, and I'd been up in the night with Ellie, and my eyes were stuck together and my whole body was protesting about getting up! I've dragged myself in, just in case it gets worse over the next few weeks! Roll on Saturday! Good luck everyone!
