First GP appointment tomorrow

Tomorrow at 9am.
Not much to say other than I'm quite excited!
I know, I know, the doctor won't care or be much interested because I'm only 5 weeks, but what I'm excited about is the fact that it feels like the first step on the pregnancy ladder (apart from BFP's of course) and I'm looking forward to getting the ball rolling and it feels like I will be officially confirming the pregnancy
Then just a long wait till Midwife and another long wait till scan!

you be excited hun. you got to celebrate all mile stones else you go mad. All my gp did was to tell me that a midwife would be in touch and that was it. Saw the midwife at 10 weeks and then scan at 12 weeks.

It is exciting! They'll probably weigh you, do your BP and give you forms for medical exemption - I was most excited about that cos I really hate having to pay for prescriptions!

Ooh good luck, can't get in with my doctors for 2 weeks! At least I won't have too long to wait between seeing doctor and then midwife I suppose. Let us know how it goes!

How exciting! Let us know how it goes, hun. My medical centre said I didn't need to see the GP and my first appointment would be direct with midwife. Quite glad I haven't got to get time off work for an additional appointment but it does mean me first one isn't until three weeks time!
