I'm pretty sure I've got it... I tick all the boxes.

But trying to get my GP to realise the excruciating pain is more than "just discomfort from the baby pressing on stuff" is nigh on impossible!

I have to keep having time off work, which is unpaid, I can't walk, sitting and lying is even unbearable at times.

My MW is always rushed during her appointments, so I doubt I'll get anywhere when I see her next week either.

TBH, I'm pretty much at my wits end!

Girls, don't let the MW/ Doc brush the problem aside..... It is quite common in pregnancy in varying degrees.. some get it mildly, some really bad. You don't need the doc to refer you either.. any MW can do it too.

I've had it through all pregnancies... each time worse. I was on crutches with both my last ones, and I've been feeling the effects this time since about 8 weeks. I've already had my physio app and need to wear 'The Belt' already.

Saying that, since she's lifted out of my pelvis, I'm not feeling it so much, but everything is still really loose, so I need to make sure of good posture all the time to keep everything aligned. Try to remember to always pull your tummy muscles in when you're climbing stairs, getting up out of a chair, turning over in bed etc. It helps to strengthen the core muscles that support the pelvis and stop them shifting so much.

I sympathise.... keep on at the mw/doc to get a refferal, put it in writing if you have to, makes it a bit more official.

My doc just diagnosed it last week in me. Im quite far on, and Id read that it develops in 1st/2nd tri, but mine only started last week anyway. Its killing me.

My doctor signed me off for a week, but as I only have 6 weeks left before mat leave, and my replacement started on monday just gone I didn't feel like I could take it.

Its agony, I feel terrible for all you girls who have it.

xxx
