8 weeks, small bit of brown creamy discharge... what does this mean??

I am freaking out. I'm 8 weeks today and just went to the bathroom and noticed a small amount of brown creamy discharge in my panties. I wiped a little and there was a little more. It was gone after I went pee. What does this mean??? Thankfully I have my ultrasound tomorrow morning but I am so worried now. I have been so scared about looking at the ultrasound screen and there being nothing and now I have brown discharge and am so worried.

I was told there will be some spotting around the time you normally get AF which for me was about 8 weeks. My brown spotting turned out to be nothing. They looked for possibilities but nothing. Please don't worry yourself and enjoy your scan tomorrow.

Thank you girls! It's just so nerve racking! I know I'll feel SO much better after my appt!! 16 hours of waiting!!!

I get this every week or so, had 2 scans and everythings ok. No idea what it is but it's pretty common.

You only need to start worrying if it turns bright red, having said that I bled bright red and clots for the first 6 months of my last pregnancy and everything was fine!

I think theres alot of stigma attached to bleeding in pregnancy as we know were not supposed to have our monthly period.....but spotting is a totally different thing and seems pretty normal!

I had this at 8 weeks and wanted to cry as had m/c in july and thought this was the start of another. But after speaking with lots of friends who have kids they said it was because my af was due and nothing to worry about. Also the night before we had sex which could have caused it. It only lasted about two days and stopped. Good luck
