I will be 8 weeks on Monday and i am thinking about it! In fact i even bought a book.
I think it's never to early to learn and i think the woman who learn more and learn it earlier have less fear going into labor and most times have an easier labor and delivery because of what they know. I would def. advocate for learning, even this early in the game. There is no shame in it and it doesn't mean you are worried it just means you are preparing yourself, and that is the best thing you can do for your child

Are you thinking of going natural or using meds? I have great book recommendation for you if you are thinking about natural. Good luck hun!

I agree the thought of not knowing is worrysome but we are woman and woman have been having babies forever and if it was horrible then we wouldn't do it. This is my second baby, well will be the second to make it full time and truly your never prepared as each one is different. My first labor lasted from 8am Monday morning until 2:57pm Tuesday when the most beautiful little girl came into this world and I'm back here to do it again try not to worry just work on having a healthy baby!

Learning about what happens will do no harm hun! But the ONE piece of advice I will give you is..
NEVER let people's horror stories get to you! It amazed me just how many people were there with horrendous stories of their Aunties', Mums, Cousins etc etc etc!
But when it came to my birth I had a lovely experience! even tho my wee boy was Back-to-back and his little head got stuick for a while! Its all about how you approach it and how open you are to changing your birth plan when the need arrises!

Dont let it stress you too much now tho hun! its a while off yet x x and there'll be plenty of time sat in your last few weeks with your feet up to focus on your birth x x

I"m not worried but I have read a few books on birth already. My favorite one I found informative and empowering.

I have had 3 natural drug free delieveries and it isn't like all the horror stories you read or people share with you.
Honestly, by 35wks onwards you want nothing more than to get this little monster out of you LOL LOL LOL LOL.

Go into labour calm, expect some pain, geez your dilating 10cm and pushing out a human being so there is going to be some pain, but don't block it, enbrace it. It's amazing how when the pain increases so does your pain threshold. Go into labour with the attitude that you CAN do this, that with in no time at all your going to be holding your baby. Be open to change (birth plan) and ask for help if you need it.

You will all do fine, if it was as horrible as some people make it out to be, people wouldn't have more children.
