does anyone know whether miscarriage or stillborn births can be genetic or is it just purely down to chance?

I have no idea.I know that most women experience a miscarriage once in their life.
But I don't think stillbirth is genetic.

I've been told by a genetics doctor that miscarriage can be genetics because most miscarriages are genetic problems. And sometimes it's just bad luck

My mum had 3 miscarriage and lost my twin. It was really hard for her to have me! This is my first time being pregnant and I have to say, so far so good. I really did think her history was going to effet me but I'm so glad it hasn't.

In other cases, the reasons people miscarry can be passed on. Genetics and all that Jazz. I think it really depends on the person.

there are a few conditions that can cause miscarriage like on the mans side i dont remember the name soz as its huge but my mates ex had it i think it only has bad side effects if both ppl carry the gene
