What's The Odds That I Felt Baby?

Last night I was laying in bed and swear I felt some fluttering in my lower tummy. It only happpened a couple of times and then I couldn't feel it anymore. I'm 10 weeks and this is our 3rd baby so I remember the feelings. Has anyone else felt movement at 10 weeks?

My friend claimed she felt her 3rd at 9 weeks! This is my 2nd child and I think I felt bean moving in bed watching tv last week so would have been 11weeks. I think you are more aware of your body 2nd/3rd time around and are more sesnitive inside so yes i think the odds are good

To be honest I felt the same feelings last week, but didn't want to seem like a crazy obsessed person . Know I wonder if it really was baby last week too .

Sorry hon I think odds are it wasn't the baby the Uterus isn't even touching the stomach lining yet.

Then again if it isn't your first and you are very in tune with your body you may be very sensitive to movements but if its your first I would say not the baby, since this is your 3rd I would certainly entertain the thought I would imagine you could feel it alot earlier than us first timers! so for you personally I would say possibly was baby!

Congrats!

i am convinced my baby moved from 12 weeks, the midwife dismissed it as quick as i said it, but i know what the feelings are like as i had already had a baby (all be it the feelings didn't come until 18 ish weeks with my daughter)

I felt little flutters now and again and they only got stronger and stronger as the weeks went on. I am in no doubt it was the baby and the midwife who had said it couldn't be hasn't even had any kids yet!

Hey Elaine, we share a last name well, it was my maiden name hehe.

I definetly think after having a child you know the feelings and what they feel like, personally this being my first I feel lots of things in my belly but I am pretty sure it is Hunger sounds and gas, I wouldnt know anything else!.

My friend is a midwife, and I thought I felt something at 11 weeks. She told me that it is almost impossible, as the baby is that tiny it just does not have the strength to activate the nerves in the uterus that would allow me to feel it.
She said the earliest she would say it could happen, even for a 2nd or 3rd pregnancy, would be 13, more like 14 weeks. She said the uterine walls are really thick, and it would be very difficult for a 1.5-2 inch baby to cause feeling from movement to them. She has got 2 children herself.

She said what I felt would be more like a muscle pop or stretch as the uterus gets bigger. I'm not saying it def wasn't - you know your bodies - but it is more likely to be something else at this stage.
