threatened misscarriage..

as some of yoou already know i had been getting alot of fluid, water like coming out of me.this liquid didnt have a very pleasent smell to it either and then the cramps began to kick in.
i phoned the hospital, and they said come to A & E. they took bloode tests and took me straight for an ultrasound.i could see the baby moving and hear the heartbeat which i was so thankfull about but they said loosing water is not good as it could be the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby so i had to stay over thel night to be monitered. in the morning i then went for my 2nd scan where they checked the amnotic fulid but none seems to be missing. they have sent me home and said i cant do anything for at least 2 weeks and they still dont know where the water is coming from.
its good news and the moment i just hope everything stays okay.
i am now 10 weeks xx

not being funny are you sure its coming from there and not a bladder leakage and maybe a water infection?

Hi with the symptoms you described could it be possible you have bacterial vaginosis, as the discharge you get when you have this can be very watery and smell unpleasant, so it might be worthwhile mentioning this to your gp, hope your ok, im sure everything will work out fine for you although i know not worrying is easier said than done x

I'm not sure weather you can have a test for bv that doesn't involve an internal examination which i could understand you not wanting to have while pregnant, if you have sex with your partner try and use a condom as sperm can affect the ph level of the vagina which can make the discharge worse, bv isn't really an infection its just that all sorts of things can affect the ph level of the vagina eg scented bubble bath, using soap etc, try and get a vaginal wash that is specially formulated for use down there xx

There is something called balance active that is a treatment for this but to be honest im not sure if you can use it while pregnant, the website should give you more info but im sure the treatment is 100% natural so it should be safe to use, im not medically trained though so it really would be worth talking to a professional, don't worry if it is treated early enough it should not be any threat to you or you baby x
