1st scan on Monday I'm terrified!

Hi Ladies,

I have my first scan on Monday (11th) and I'm terrified! I'll be 10 weeks plus 2 days but all my symptoms have gone! I've read in other posts that this can start to happen around this time but I'm so scared.

My husband is so excited he's like a kid in a sweet shop. We were both wide awake in the night, him because he was too excited to sleep, me too worried to sleep!

What should I expect to happen at the first scan?

I really hope the weekend goes quick and we have no more snow!

Don't worry, hun. Not everybody has lot of symptoms. At week 10 you should be able to see your bean (big head and big body). Seeing the heartbeat may not be as easy as in earlier stage (e.g. week 7), but you should be able to heart it.

I have my first Scan Monday too! Ill be about 8 weeks. Im so excited seems like Monday is taking ages to come round.

I have my scan next wednesday and I feel exactly the same.
I dont really feel pregnant anymore but am getting some slight pains below.
I really dont wanna wait any longer, I just need reassurance that everythings ok and this waiting just feels like a life time!
Hopefully it will come round quick for the both of us and Im sure we will both be fine : )

Hey, good luck for monday.... i have my 1st scan on tuesday and am so excited. I wouldn't worry about not having many symptoms i haven't had loads of symptons at all!
But i suppose that could be classed as lucky hehe.
I hope it doesn't snow much more as i won't be able to get to the hospital! lol. xxx
