i keep worrying that i will go for my scan & the babys heart has stopped beating , ive been so emotional this morning with it all going through my head , i would go out & buy a doppler but i know its still a little early to pick it up , don,t know why im feeling like this , my scan isn,t untill 24th april so ages away yet . violet xx

Oh Violet I am sure evrything is fine, its natural to feel like that. Alot of people do. I am scared of going for my scan.
Try and think positive hun, I know easier said than done.

I've listened to my baby's heart beat this morning using my doppler and i have my scan on tuesday, i've already had 2 scans which showed 1 very healthy baby. but i'm convinced there is gonna be something wrong on tuesday at my scan. What i'm trying to say that we will always worry some days more than others but unless there are any signs for you to be worried about i'm sure everything with your baby is fine!! Just keep yourself occupied until your scan, sometimes the wait can make you feel this anxious!! x

thanks ladies , well i feel sick everyday so im hoping that is a good sign , my stomach has grown already , my boobs are bigger so hopefully everything is ok , they don,t do early scans round were i live unless your bleeding & i have had no sign of that what so ever thank god . violet xxx

Everything sounds completly normal Violet. They don't do early scans round here either but i paid 4 them privatley 4 some extra reassurance!
I have 1 child already and back then they only did 12weeks scans, i dunno how i lasted that long, lol! x

thanks belle its so hard having to wait that long i will be 13 weeks & 1 day when i go for my scan it worries me as im an older mum , this one will be my 4th child , my oldest is 13 , then 12 then 7 , so its been a while since ive been through this . violet xx

I'm going to be 13 weeks on tuesday when i have my NHS 1, just think they'll be loads more to see!!
This baby will be well looked after with 3 older siblings to watch out for it!! x

We all get worried about our scans, and our babies, we want the best possible life for them, and we want them to be perfect. Your scan will show your healthy baby, and like belle said the further along you are the more you have to see.

It's normal to get worried about a scan...

And with hormones...

I was also terrified with my 8 week one,and it showed a very healthy baby...and with my 12 week also,but that one didn't go so well...And now I'm terrified of my next one!

I also had private scans like Belle.I can't wait that long.It's a form of torture...

I feel like this alot too. It's a really horrible feeling. People have said to me that as long as you have some symptoms then the baby is fine, and that's the thought I hang onto when I'm panicing myself into a quivering wreck. Good luck honey. I hope the feeling passes for you
