Getting a cold sucks!!

I caught a cold off of a friends kid at new years and now I can't sleep because I am so congested, coughing like crazy, trying not to because I think it's going to harm the baby, sucking on halls is all I can do right now, I am getting plenty of fluids, but it is no fun at all!!!
anyone else get a cold? how did you deal with it?

aww i had a bad cold last week. so annoying! but i also have a little girl coming 2 so she helps me get over myself quickly haha! just initial waking up i thot was horrible but seemed to come round alot within an hour or less

hope u feel better and get some rest if u can xx

Hey, i have a bad cold atm! Nothing is really helping although lastnite from asda my OH bought me some cherry menthol sweets made by Jakemans and they seem to be clearing my snotty beak! Sleeping has been awful with coughing all night and i hate having to breathe through my mouth instead of my nose... sore throat!
I suggest a jimjamjoolie day with a hot water bottle, a blanket, some hot juice (well warm) and some nice sucky sweets, hope you feel betterer soon! xx
