I'm Currently Feeling:  | When will my first scan be?
Hi
I am very new to this and wondered when it is normal to have a first scan. I see people on here having scans at 12 weeks or earlier but I had my first doctors visit today and she said they would only do a scan at about 18-20 weeks. Is that right?
I am in Calgary, Canada by the way...

I'm Currently Feeling: | I guess I got lucky, lol, I got a scan today because the dr im getting a referal for requires one... I hope she will do more than 1... |

But they are private so...it's different in us... |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Different areas of Canada seem to differ on this. I live in Toronto and had a scan done at 13 weeks (for dating purposes) but a lot of the Canadian girls on here don't get their scans until 20 weeks. |
