Describe "ligament pain" to me

cuz, I just stood up after sitting here at the computer and it pulled on my left side kind of above my hip...just for a few seconds. Is that what that is, or do you think ectopic? I know, I am a freak.

Its totally impossible to diagnose a ectopic over the internet. Take it from me they are hard to diagnose in real life.

Pulling and tugging is quite normal in pregnancy. I have had more pain with my viable pregnancy than I did when I had my ectopic. My ectopic felt like a stitch on my left side that I had for 4 weeks before the ectopic ruptured.

That said some women experience excruciating pain, and sometime shoulder pain, pain refered from the abdomen.

With an ectopic you may or may not feel unwell. I felt fine until I collapsed and nearly died. It is a hard one to call without hcg and a scan.

I read elsewhere you are having 48 hrs hcg which is part of the way to diagnosing or otherwise but you would also want a scan to see if they see a uterine pregnancy.

I hope its not ectopic, and I know its a torturous wait. I am thinking of you. XXX

For me it was like having a stitch in my side, sometimes period pain, other times a sharp pain that subsided.

I get stitches when walking and sharp pains when changing position (sit/stand, shifting around etc). The sharp pains never last more than 2 minutes. I've felt them everywhere from hips to groin to abdomen. I think all of those are ligament pains. I've had other pains feeling like AF cramps (between 12 and 15 weeks so far, off and on) and I think those are uterus growing pains.
