I'm Currently Feeling: | New area, New doctors, New procedures Help!! right when you went to docs to tell them you were getting posotive HPT's what did you have to do.
mine told me today they trusted i was right i didn't need to produce a sample and the MW will contact me via phone between 8 and 12 weeks.
before i had to produce a sample to be tested. so i'm a little bemused
obviously i'm getting positive HPTs and obviously no AF but i really feel a little strange over the whole thing help |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You would think they would confirm your pregnancy before sending you off to a MW. Strange. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Mine didn't confirm it.. I said I thought I was pregnant and if so, we were gonna keep it..
So he basically just said to book an appointment with the MW so we did |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Heyy, the doctor tends not to re confirm it as home pregnancy tests are so reliable now. I had to wait till i was 12 weeks before i saw mw for booking app. It's hard to wait because you need some sort of professional confirmation don't you? My mind wandered lots in between the time from drs to mw visit. When you have your scan n see baba for the first time, you'll sure as hell beleive it then tho and you'll be on
If it gives you peace of mind keep testing yourself?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Mine confirmed my pregnancy with a urine test and also did an ultrasound at 6 weeks (my first appointment--I thought I was at 7 weeks).
Also, did anyone else have to give a LOT of blood to be tested for genetic diseases at their first appt.? I was positively woozy by the time it was over. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Mine were the same and in fact lots of doctors don't bother to confirm it anymore because they say HPT are so accurate. Sometimes more so than the doctors tests. |
