Your welcome. I think it is just one of the best sounds in the world!
I just used my digi camera to take the video. My in-laws are in the UK while I am in Texas, so I am trying to share as much of my pregnancy as I can with them. Thank goodness for the internet!

Ok, im a bit concerned now! My doppler is great and ive been able to pick up the baby's heartbeat really clearly but...........its really slow! Hardly any faster than mine! Midwife said at last appointment that baby had a good heartbeat but now im worried - should it be nearly twice as fast as mine?

No,it doesn't have to be twice as fast.
It's usually faster than the mother's but if you midwife said it's fine than I'm sure it is...
Relax(I know,easier said than done)...

Maybe I found my LOs hb at 11 weeks. WAY down and to the right just a little. It takes patience, I tried everyday for a week before I found it. Even once I found it, some days it would still be hard, but totally worth it!!!

I'm so glad you found the hb. I bet it was really exciting! I bought one yesterday and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Can't wait to give it a try!

I think at 12 wks baby's heartbeat should be at around 160 beats per minute. Mine's is at 145bpm now, but they slow down as they grow. If you've found a beat that is similar to your pulse then it is probably your pulse. I think the umbilical cord also pulses at the mothers heart rate speed, which is probably around 70-80bpm. I know I can hear that with my doppler too!
