Did you get a scan pic at your Emergency scan appointment?

Hiya, I have my first scan tomorrow - the "emergency" one they booked on the 23rd December, due to my spotting.

Anywya, I was wondering how many of you got a pic with yours? I am really hoping they let me have one, although obviously just seeing my little bean will mean I will be on

it would just be nice to show him/her off!

I have my planned one on wednesday though so I could of course be patient and just wait, but would like to see how many of you did get one xx

no they said they dont do them at emergency scan and i had to wait till my dating scan but it my depend on where you are sweetie xxx

i had to go in for an emergency scan due to spotting.. and yeh i got a scan photo of my lil baby

.. i got a canny few actually lol... if ur wanting one just ask for 1 when ur there they can exactly say no

I was given one (without asking) though I'm not in the UK so YMMV.

yes i got one..id had a scan at 4weeks and they couldnt see anything(obvouisly)..they were checking for cysts and when i came back for me 6weeks one they gave me a scan pic..as u can see from me avator pic its tiny tiny but it didnt stop me from framing it and puting it on the wall for all to see..it maybe small but its still me bubs growing there!!!

I got one, however it may vary from hospital to hospital. I also think it depends on the outcome, I have had scans that have been indecisive and they havent let me have the pic, and obviously when I had the ectopic I didnt get that one either, however when its been good news they have been happy to oblige. Hiya, I got one at 7+4 (scan due to spotting), I asked her if I could and she was more than happy to give me a picture even though there wasn't much to see lol

I asked her where I paid (my trust charges £4 per picture) and she said the EPAU doesn't charge for pictures.

I then had another scan at 8+5 (for the same reasons) and I had the same sonographer, I was so upset about the bleeding I was crying, and was just marveling how much the little one grew in just over a week. I didn't ask her for a picture. As I was talking to the nurse the sonographer came out with another picture for me, I felt so touched - still remember her name....Paula....

If you are nice and they are able to do so I don't see why they wouldn't, unless they are just horrible. My emergency scans replaced my dating scan set at 12 weeks so I wanted something to have to look at til I hit 20 weeks.

I got one at my 6 week scan but not at my 7 week scan with a different sonographer.

I could have had one if I asked, but to be honest you couldn't really see much at 8+3. It's nice in a way that it is something just me and DH have shared without other people wanting a look.
