Hi everyone! I got my doppler in the mail yesterday - I got the Hi-Bebe one. I tried it out and the first couple of times I couldn't find anything, which I expected since it's still early. Tried again late last night and found something - but it was only about 96 bpm according to the display. This got me worried - is it possible that I wasn't picking up the LO's hb? Cuz 96 is too low and I was at 176 bpm at the scan on Tuesday....

It might have been something else hun, i didnt think home dopplers could pick up hb till at least 12 weeks? I wouldnt let yourself worry.

Nope, that won't be your LO. It might have been you, or the placenta. I didn't find anything till I was 11 weeks, and trust me, when you find it, you will know. Give it a few weeks, then try again. I found my LOs HB really low down, pretty much n the hairline, on the right side. Sometimes it was really hard to find, remember your baby is really tiny right now!

It says that it picks it up from 10-12 weeks. I'm gonna try not get upset and keep trying every couple of days and see what happens. Thanks!

Thanks Samantha - It probably is just me although it was in the same spot as you said, right in the hairline on the right side!!
