Dopplers

I have decided purchasing a doppler may be a good way to put my mind at ease that baby is safe in there. Now I know they aren't guarunteed to work this early, but does anyone know of any that are fairly good and may pick up sounds this early? Apparently angel is a good 1?

hi there,

i have the angel doppler, i bought if from ebay for £25.00 so i thought that was good for th peace of mind i was able to achieve, (im a big girl so worried about hearing the hb) i wasnt able to find him until 15weeks and he NEVER keeps still lol but from 15 weeks I have been able to hear it each time i need to, I really would recommend getting one, I had a miscarriage previously and this gave me total peace of mind, (when i couldnt hear the hb i could still hear movements so that me feel better at that point too)
Go FOR IT

h x

Red face

Welll, i've bought the Angel Doppler off ebay!!! I'm so excited lol! I couldn't get the pink one, which was the one i had read good reviews about, there was only the 'new 2008' one available so i hope it works the same, can't see why not? As for not finding babas heartbeat, well i've convinced myself to be prepared that i'm not gonna find it easily if at all. Whether that actually comforts me at the time though, i don't know Apparently it should pick up noises of babay moving even this early, and as it's a little wriggler hopefully it won't be too difficult. Apparently you should also be able to hear the placenta, a kind of whooshing noise? I've never heard a babies heartbeat so i have noooo idea

Fingers crossed eh?

I got the Hi Bebe BT-200 when I was 13 weeks and was able to find the heartbeat by putting the doppler right at the top my of my pant line, pointing it downwards and moving it a tiny bit at a time or just tilting it one way or another, you habe to move it soo slowly because its very sensitive. I think 9 weeks is a bit early but fingers crossed in the next couple of weeks you'll be able to hear it loud and clear

Think 9 weeks is a bit early as uterus tucked under pubic bone still.
