sorry if this is TMI lol......


my nipples have begun to get very itchy and i often notice dried (and sometimes fresh) discharge on them. not a lot, just a very small amount. it's white-ish and clear. i wasn't going to post about this because it's quite embarrassing but i had to ask. is this my milk beginning to rev up or.....?

I have no idea myself hun as i stil early but id say its safe to say it milk....by friend started leaking at 12 weeks if that helps x x x

It is actually colostrum, milk does not come in till a few days after the baby is born. I started leaking I guess around 23-24 weeks. I find that I tend to leak more when the girls are left free, if I keep them in a bra, I tend to leak less. Warmth also seems to loosen the ladies up, after a bath or shower. I also leaked when I went to pick my DH up at the airport after he had been gone for 2 1/2 weeks. My midwife said it must have been a big release of oxytocine that caused the extra leakage.

I had leaking with my first at about 10 weeks try not to worry x

i have started to leak to but mine is deffo milk midwife check to was well embarrassing lol this is the earliest i ever had milk come in lol

Ive had something slightly different yes Ive had the annoying itchy nips but theve also been very dry in fact my skin in general has been very dry

i had it very early on with my first and mine was almost sugary. lol

Sounds like it to me - I started leaking at 12 weeks, too. Congrats on and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

Ugh, leaking boobs! The things we go through lol! I didn't realise that it started so early!

Leaking boobs is how I knew I was pg with my 2nd and 3rd babies. This time around, I can squeeze stuff out if I want but I don't (ouch!). It is different for everyone, but definately you are not alone. I also made much more milk than I needed for each baby as well. I leaked a ton when nursing, so that may be a sign that you will as well. Buy some nursing pads!
