today i had my first appointment with my midwife. she took me by surprise and asked me if i wanted to hear the baby's heartbeat. i said yes of course. she said not to be disappointed if we heard nothing because i'm only 11 weeks.

she found my heartbeat and then suddenly she found the baby's. it was amazing, the beating was so clear and strong and perfect and i was so surprised at how intensely it made me feel. a combination of happy and teary eyed lol.

hehehe, it was cute too. my baby's heartbeat is faster than mine, sounded like he/she was tap dancing
