hi ya,

ive got the angel sounds doppler in pink and white and its fab, i used it from about 12 weeks but wasnt able to find the heartbeat until about 15 weeks...im am a large lady to say the least though and i dont think it helped... my tip is make sure you have a full bladder, got really low down literally on or below your pubic bone and move very slowly...when you hear your heart beat move slowly till you hear the placenta (a strange wooshing noise) youl hear little movements and the hb should be very close...also if you think your close dont keep moving the doppler to new places just angle it dirrerently tilting is slighty as i missed him loads of times by not doing this!!

good luck youll love it

Hi Belle

I have one of these dopplers too & think its great! Bigbelly2 above has explained really well how to use it & it's weird being able to hear LO's movements as he/she wriggles around inside you!

Have fun xx

I bought a pink and white Doppler from Ebay too, its abs fantastic!

We used it at 12weeks and use it almost every week- you can hear the heartbeat soooo clearly- i love it! It was brilliant for me cos it reassured me loads and esp as im waiting a lot longer than most for my 1st scan, so this was perfect.

As bigbelly mentioned, baby is usually positioned near the pubic bone area-it takes a bit of patience to find it, but once found, hold it there othrwise you can easily lose it again.

Whats good is that you can insert another headset, so you and your partner can hear it at the same time

I highly reccommend it
