I'm Currently Feeling:  |  first scan
So i'm new to this so hello guys! 
Well i decided i wasn't going to join anything like this until i knew my pregnancy was 'for real'. I didn't want to tempt fate i guess. I went to the drs in january and nothing happened until yesterday, suddenly it was all go!!
I had my first scan this morning and yupp, theres defo a baba inside me lol! The lil thing wouldn't stop moving for the photo but to be honest i was jus glad it was there n doin fine. They said i'm 12 1/2 weeks but that doesn't seem quite right but never mind! The community mw also visited me yesterday for my booking visit. That seems to be it now though, i'm left alone till my 20 week scan (apart from when they want blood) so that's a bit scary. I don't know if anyone else feels the same but it would just be nice to have a bit more of a regular update, just a bit of reassurance i guess! This is my 1st so i'm kinda wondering if things are normal, for instance my tummy gurgles. Daft i know. But it does, really, really loudly and keeps me awake sometimes. Does anyone else have this? Maybe it's just because its moving about so much?

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Welcome to the forum! I'm in Canada and things are done a bit differently here (I see my OB every 4 weeks until week 28 I believe, than every 2 weeks until week 36 or so, and than once a week). I'm sure some of the other girls can help you out more though (especially those that live closer to your area). Congratulations on your pregnancy!! |

As for the tummy gurgles, oh it's very normal hun. You'll probably experience more "gas' from this point forward, nothing to worry about at all! |
