Mine's long story. 2 rounds of IVF with ex (his fertility not mine) then eventual divorce years ago etc etc Then back on pill with new man for 2 years then off again.

Currently with BF about 7 months 'trying'.

I'm with all the previous posts saying stop trying. It was my birthday on 2nd November , then his 40th on 13th with trip to Iceland. what will all the Halloween and Bonfire parties, totally forgot about TTC and just enjoyed each other

Whilst in Iceland I ate blue cheese, rare steaks, smoked 3-4 a day and drank a fair bit of wine, and I' overweight...... and that's the month I got pregnant!

So just try and chill out, which I know is really hard

I wish you all the best and hope you see that really soon.

Jx

We got pregnant on 3rd month of trying, I only came off BCP in August. 1st 2 months I hardly drank, not much caffeine etc and nothing. 3rd month, had a few drinks, acted like normal and voila... I'm pregnant. I used opk's the 3rd month just to make sure I was actually ov'ing.

Good luck x

We took 6 months... the month we got pregnant was the month that we decided not to stress out and just go with the flow. I still took my prenatels and folic though.

It was funny because we got preggers the month we were relaxed and the only month I wasn't regular. Ends up I ovulated two weeks late.

Best of luck!

Definately with the legs in the air theory. It took us 2 months, and I am convinced this is what made the difference!

It took me about 7 months being devoted to trying to get pregnant! & stressing about it.
& took me 1 month after that to concieve again.
It did end in mc, but i very quickly got pregnant again after, and here i am, 11 weeks with a perfect little baby! xx

Hmmm, about 6 months for us. We're both healthy, I'm late 20-ies and he's mid-30ies. I cut down on drinking and stopped smoking. Started taking folic acid, but started forgetting after a while. I also had a few heavy nights in the month we conceived as I didn't think we would.

I used a CBFM for the last 2 months to understand what my cycle was doing, I had been on the Pill for about 10 yrs so I wanted to see what was going on. We still BDd every other day, just upped the anti around OV time!

hahaha! I do tend to share a lot!!!!

I would disagree with the whole soup in the bowl - legs in the air thing, but that's cos we didn't bother with any of that - basically all the things I have read in ttc before - legs in air, certain positions, etc etc, use pre-seed or natural lube, we did none of that, just enough and lots of fun xx
