Prams - again

Now I know I'm really forward planning but these are the fun bits!!!

I had my little heart set on a silver cross 3d travel system, but I've heard really bad reviews about them. The other thing that was putting me off was that they don't have a child tray at the front. Now I don't know what to go for. Does anyone know of a pram warehouse where they have lots of choice. and you can try all the different prams out???!!! Preferably in the South East or London.

Sorry I don't live near you so I don't know but I have the silvercross 3D ad I've heard bad things about them but I love mine.

I've had people say it's not very stirdy or the hood always falls down but I've found it's more stirdy and lighter than the mamas and papas pliko pramette and there is no chance of the hood falling down on mine. In fact all the bad thats been said about it the only thing I agree with is the shopping basket is a problem to get into but I think it's similar on many prams.

Do you find it's a problem not having a child tray for their drinks or snacks (obviously I mean bits of fruit, not sweets lol!)

Well I haven't got that far yet and since I've never had one with a tray I doubt I'd miss it. Really I don't know.

you are always going to get people complaine on reviews, most people will post a bad review than a good review... when you buy something like a pram, what might be good for someone else might not be good for you, you really need to know what you need from it.... your best bet is to have a good look around and have a good play about with them.. If you are getting one with a matching car seat, make sure the seat belt fits around the car seat, and it is sturdy.... have fun.....

I've had one with a tray... and one without... and let me tell you.. on long shopping sessions, it had it's fair share of sweets in it. It is handy to have one, but to be honest, they just get in the way. The ones on the Graco models, are there mainly because the car seat clips onto it....

I have heard aload of good reviews about it lol , thats why i have bought it and its been voted for alot of awards too. It seems fine to me

Also with the tray in front , i never had one with my daughter who is now 2 and a half. i always just gave her something to eat out of her lunch box.

But good luck pram hunting!! Its fun !

Thanks ladies. The ones with trays seem to be so much heavier and clunkier. As I walk everywhere I want something lightweight. I'll keep looking!
