Not sure about this myself, but I work in theatres and have a gynae list tomorrow. Will try and remember to ask the consultant if she has any info. Good luck and kep us posted x

hey dona at about 6 weeks because of a heavy bleed I had an early scan the scan was ok but the the baby was dated 6 weeks and the sac dated 7/8 weeks try not to fear the lovley lady who did the scan said that it is very hard to date so early on and to try and reassure you the heavy bleeding stopped and I had my 12 week scan and everything was fine take care hun I know its worrying rest as much as you can

Hopefully it was just a small variance of a mm like anita suggested and it will correct itself soon. Just keep drinking you liquids etc and Fingers and toes crossed for you for the next scan.

Are they going to check your hcg levels?. My friend had something similar and they checked hers, thought she may have ovulated later and so pregnancy was not as far on as she thought. Not sure that helps you, she is now 20 weeks pregnant.

I think this is what they are going to do when I go back for my next scan on 2nd April. Hope I make it to 2nd April...
