I'm Currently Feeling:  | Birth! I know its early days but.....
....has anyone else thought about the birth they want....
Ive been really thinking about a water birth (if anyone has had it…was it helpful) purely because when I have a bath it really relaxes me...….gas and air and maybe pethidine if I cant manage (but NO epidural)…I have actually told my mum, OH and sister (who I want at the birth with me) that under NO circumstances (even if I cry and beg) to make sure I don’t have an epidural….urgh the thought of an injection in my back…..
Saying that im really scared about the birth (my pain threhold is not high….I cried when I had my belly button pirced at age 17!!!) …god knows what I'll be like nearer the time….!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Im opting for the water birth for the same reasons having a bath normally is relaxing so Im hoping it'll be the same for the birth however my hospital has a bed and birthing pool in each room so if I dont like the pool I can move to the bed. and Im gonna give gas and air a go but if I need more pain relief than I'll have what ever drugs are going |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Gas and air is brilliant stuff!! Thats all i had with my last.
I think a water birth would be nice but it was only 40mins last time so fingers crossed there won't be enough time. |
