I'd just about come round after the upset of my friends missed m/c being detected at her 12 wk scan on friday.

My hubby is away on a school trip so I'm on my own with DD and the dogs, Moog and Merv.
They're cocker spaniels and Moog is a typical cocker - pinching everything and anything. This morning I gave them their brekkie and went back to bed. Moog was suspiciously quiet and I now know why. My DD found that she'd eaten a whole giant Toblerone including the packaging. Chocolate is highly toxic for dogs so I called the vets. To cut a long story short she has eaten a potentially fatal amount. She's had her stomach pumped and is on a drip. They will ring me later with an update.

I'm really worried. Keep crying.
Mervyn was born deaf and since we rescued him 2 yrs ago, he's never been without her. He's a very anxious little thing. I'm worried about leaving him when I got to work in the morning.
I know they're 'only dogs' but I cant help worrying.
Sorry to waffle on about my dogs - not really 1st tri related but I just wanted to get it off my chest.
