Oh, Lisa, I am so sorry to hear your news!

Truly hope your dog will be ok. Pets are our family, that's for sure!

We used to have two cats and one obtained diabetes. My hubby was asking me what to do...put her down or give her needles everyday. I told him that humans aren't put down when they have diabetes. So, I gave needles twice a day. It was a heartbreaking decision to make a year later when the quality of her life just wasn't good or improving. Something is now wrong with the second cat and I will have to get her checked out as she seems to have the same symptoms of diabetes. She is about 16-18 years old too.

We also have a female boxer dog, two degus (small chinchilla like animals) and two goats.

And it is so scary when something goes wrong!

Special thoughts to you, your DD and dog and that it will turn out ok!

Aw, thats horrible !! I'm sure she'll be fine though, as you got her seen really quickly, and if they pumped alot of it out then she shouldn't have absorbed too much. I hope shes home with you soon

Well she's home and she's fine thank goodness! They pumped her tum and then put her on a drip to flush her out. She's asleep now but she was bossing Merv about within mins of getting back!

So you can put a furry face to a name...

Moog....

and Merv....

Thanks everyone I really appreciate your messages xx
