Unhappy

constantly worried about miscarriage

hi all!
Found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago, think I'm now just over seven weeks. Since I got the positive result I'm fretting everyday about misacarrying. I was pregnant for the first time last summer and started bleeding at about 9 weeks. It was a missed miscarriage and probably happened 4/5 weeks earlier. I had sore breasts but no other symptoms when I miscarried and am now worried as my symptoms are so mild! Some light headed-ness in week five, sore nipples and I retch a bit on the mornings! No strong nausea! I have an early scan next week but am feeling really negative. Anyone else got advice or been in similar situation?

Sorry for all your losses girls

I when you want something so bad and you finally get it you are always worried someone is going to take it away. I have just about stopped (just about) worrying what I might find on every trip to the loo.
My sister had no sickness and she bled and went on to have a healthy baby so try not to panic too much about mild symptoms - they do happen like that for some girls.
Perhaps given your history you could ask for an early scan?

I understand that you're bad experiences are now worrying you but 1st pregnancy is often misscarried and women after that have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies...
The stress you're feeling isn't helpful...Relax,if you find something unusal then it's time to panic...

Welcome and congrats...

We had numerous miscs and I know exactly how worrying it can be. As one lady said take a day at a time. Pregnancy symptoms do vary from day to day and pregnancy to pregnancy. I had shocking nausea and vomiting with first 3 babies , but this time hardly any. I had con vinced myself I would miscarry but am now 32 weeks pregnant. Chances of a good outcome are on your side.

We will get there, it's early days and although we have this worry, we can hope and fingers crossed very tightly that everything goes well.
