| Pregnant (Expecting) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: New Zealand Posts: 186 | Can you look and give feedback I got the official results today of the NT scan I had last week. Here are the numbers: CRL= 76mm BPD= 25mm NT= 2.3mm I am 34 and I had the scan at 13+0 weeks. The midwife put my risk at 1:697 She didn't talk about the other numbers and I have only just gotten home and looked at the paperwork. I have been told that I have to go and have bloodwork done at 15 weeks as the second part of the Trisomy 21 risk assessment. Are my numbers OK??  I asked if she could listen to the baby's heartbeat and she said that she almost guaranteed that we wouldn't hear it (I am 13+4) and that the baby would be low in my pelvis. I told her that I disagreed and that baby was up by my bellybutton. She spent a bit of time trying to get it and was giving up when I asked her to try higher she immediately got it. I only heard about 4 seconds worth and then baby gave it a boot and moved away. Clever baby!!  |

I picked up my baby's heartbeat at home with an Angelsounds doppler at like 11+4 or something... I have NO clue about the numbers, sorry! My doctor (who I'm meeting for the first time on thursday and already want to change!) didn't even book me in for a 12 week scan, so we had to go to a private clinic where I don't think they'll do all those tests anyway!  xx |
