Why are my lines not getting darker? Anyone else have that problem?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you could help me? I'm roughly 5 weeks (which is so early) but can't seem to get the lines on the test to go darker - they are so so faint!! Did this happen to anyone else and your still pregnant? Starting to really stress myself out now with it all - which i know isn't good! Can it take another week for a test result to get darker? Is it because i don't have enough hormone level? with the hormone level get bigger over this much time?? ARGH QUESTIONS!!!!!! HA HA!!

This happened to me when I had a chemical last month, the lines never got darker! To put me out my misery I had a Blood test done, the pregnancy hormone was 11..that is almost negative. I hope this is not your case, but I suggest getting a blood test done to see. I would also say, only test every 3 days, daily you will not see much change. Fingers crossed you have a sticky bean xx!!

3000 is a very good number for being bang on 5w, and pregnancy tests show up levels from around 10-50 depending on brand so it shoulda been dark! my doctor says somewomen just dont pass as much in their urine apparently! he also said you should never judge a pregnancy on the darkness of lines. I think as long as you dont get negatives its hopeful, you could go to doctor and get your blood level checked out xx
