It is very rare to get a false positive from what I understand. If you have had a run of positives then you ARE pregnant. Testing over and over is more worry than it's worth. If you are worried after the last one then I would get yourself off to the docs and just say you are unsure of the results and could they test and confirm.
But I know for sure that whether the lines are light or dark has absolutely no bearing on how pregnant you are. It is just picking up the HGC hormone, which you get when you are pregnant.

See im going to the docs on thursday because the one last week was to weak to confirm - eagar beaver i am!! HA HA! thank you - i'll post result on thursday! xx

The darkness of the line is not really a measure. You can only really go on the basis of a line= pregnant no line= not pregnant!

I am sure it will be fine. If you want a quantative test then you would have to have you hcg done by blood test and this will confirm if hcg is rising however unfortunately the darkness of the line is not a definitive measure. XXX
