Finally tossed cookies... Morning sickness?

Yesterday I had a burger, fries and ginger ale at around 3:00pm. At around 7:30pm I was feeling very cold and sick. Ended up throwing up my whole lunch... I could see the tomato and the beef from the burger... did I ever do any digestion in 4 hours?

And today I just had a sandwich and an orange juice as lunch. Feeling very heavy after the meal. I don't know if I will end up tossing cookies again.... is it how morning sickness should feel? I thought it would be more like a sudden nausea, and not a constant feeling of heaviness....

I think it varies. With my son I was nauseous 24/7 from about 10 days before AF was even due until the day I delivered. I felt sick to my stomach and when I did throw up it didn't make the feeling go away.
This time around is totally different. I often feel a heaviness in my stomach and have thrown up undigested foods up to 6 or more hours after eating them. I have had times that I felt fine, then suddenly had to throw up with almost no warning. I didn't keep down a single meal for 3 days at one point. Some days I feel nauseous, others I feel fine. But when all was said and done I still lost about 5 pounds over my first trimester. Yuck!
Here's hoping it doesn't last for you....I completely sympathize.

That's how I felt and I also had occasions where I'd eat and throw up many hours later and EVERYTHING was there.... Maybe it's to do with the slowed down digestive system?

I just feel like I do when I'm ill and throwing up - I feel this heavy feeling in the pit of my stomach and it slowly twists upwards until it makes me gag...basically...

xx

Thanks gals. Glad to know that it is morning sickness, and not something else. I had felt nausea in the past 2 weeks, but never thrown up. I thought that I probably ate too much yesterday, but it seems that my digestion is slowing down even further. I guess I will have to eat smaller portions at a time. Sometime I feel like hungry (specially at night), but not sure if it is really hungry, or just sour stomach.

All this feeling is really confusion. Really hoping that will not last long.

I get hungry at night too... I got hungry last night after we came to bed and was drinking water, which was NOT sitting well on my tummy... Whenever my stomach rumbles it makes me almost throw up as it is!! Eventually DH got up and made me some toast which helped settle it enough to get to sleep - just something bland like that can help settle your tummy when it feels bad, especially when it's right before bedtime!

xx
